On a cool day in November the Hiland FFA Chapter went to  Columbus for the Ohio State University (OSU) hockey game. A guest speaker was at the stadium to talk to the FFA students that were in attendance. The women who started the discussion began by saying what   OSU was about and what the college offers to high school students. A couple of the ideas she talked about was taking important tests, how to get into the university, what the college majors are, and how many people are enrolled, which is 65,184 students. Later, when the woman finished talking to the FFA members, the OSU Men’s Hockey game started. The Buckeyes played against Robert Morris. In the first quarter the Buckeyes got the first goal, but in the next quarter Morris tied the game. During the half time, the OSU Marching Band marched on the ice, and performed the OHIO script. After half time, Morris got another point. Even though the Buckeyes tried their hardest to stop the Morris, they got another goal in the next quarter. The game ended with 4-1, Morris winning. The Hiland FFA members that took part of this bonding time was: Carson Feikert, Sierra Conway, Ethan Drazga, Bailey Engstrom, Claire Farquhar, Sarah Rose Farquhar, Natalie Lovell, Kyle Huprich, Sierra Hershberger, Marlin Hershberger, Ryan Mast, Morgan Miller, Violet Miller, Brenton Schlabach, Kortney Schlabach, Parker Stutzman, Heidi Troyer, Sheila Troyer, Tallie Troyer, Lexi Raber, Maxwell Weaver, Cheryl Yoder, and Diane Yoder. Everyone who went to the OSU Hockey game had a wonderful time hanging out with friends, watching the Buckeyes play and OSU Marching Band.
